Former AEW producer and Ring of Honor talent BJ Whitmer was terminated from AEW after being arrested on charges of first-degree strangulation and second-degree burglary. According to the police report, Whitmer allegedly entered the residence of a former girlfriend and strangled her after she refused to delete messages he had sent to her. AEW contacted the victim to offer support. Whitmer was released on a $25,000 bond and each felony charge is punishable by five to 10 years in prison.
