"Nvidia Unveils Blackwell B200: The Next Era of AI Computing"

Nvidia has unveiled the Blackwell B200 GPU and GB200 "superchip," claiming it to be the "world's most powerful chip" for AI. The B200 GPU offers up to 20 petaflops of FP4 horsepower and the GB200 combines two of those GPUs with a single Grace CPU to offer 30 times the performance for LLM inference workloads. The new architecture reduces cost and energy consumption significantly, with potential applications in cloud services offered by major tech companies. Additionally, Nvidia's systems can scale to tens of thousands of the GB200 superchips, connected together with high-speed networking, and the architecture is expected to power future RTX 50-series desktop graphics cards.
