Activist investor Nelson Peltz is planning to challenge Walt Disney again by seeking multiple board seats, including one for himself, less than 10 months after Disney addressed his previous criticism. Peltz's hedge fund, Trian Fund Management, has increased its ownership of Disney shares five-fold since the second quarter. If Disney rejects Peltz's attempt to join the board, Trian could nominate director candidates between December and January. Peltz previously criticized Disney's financial performance and lack of strategy, while Disney claimed he lacked understanding of the company's businesses.
