Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dominates UK charts and sparks game comparisons.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has become the biggest boxed launch of 2023 in the UK, beating out Hogwarts Legacy by 54% and its predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, by 173%. It is already the fourth biggest Zelda game of all time in revenue, sitting just behind The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. However, it is not the biggest Switch launch of all time, as that honour still belongs to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
