Multiple Tragedies Strike Lake Michigan: Deaths and Rescues Highlight Dangers
A 14-year-old boy has died after jumping off a breakwall into Lake Michigan near Jeorse Park, despite being warned against doing so by officials. Witnesses reported that the boy struggled in the water before disappearing below the surface. Emergency officials were called to the scene and the boy was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
