Chicago Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard will be out for six to eight weeks after undergoing surgery for a fractured jaw sustained from a hit by New Jersey Devils defenseman Brendan Smith. This rules him out of potentially becoming the youngest player ever in the NHL All-Star Game.
