
Brevard Road congestion likely as Asheville hosts PGA Tour’s Biltmore Championship
The North Carolina Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert ahead of the PGA TOUR’s Biltmore Championship Asheville (Sept. 17–20 at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove), warning of congestion along NC-191 (Brevard Road) Thursday–Sunday during peak commute and school drop-off times. Drivers are encouraged to use Interstate 26 as an alternate north–south route, spectators should park at Biltmore Park Town Square and volunteers at Biltmore Church, with no spectator parking at the course; directions, parking, and shuttle info are available on the event site.
