Tragic Shooting of 11-Year-Old British Girl in Family Garden in France.
An 11-year-old British girl was shot dead and her parents were seriously wounded in a gun attack by their 71-year-old Dutch neighbor in Saint-Herbot, Brittany, western France. The motive for the tragedy is not yet known, but it appears there had been a dispute between the two neighbors for several years over a piece of land adjoining the two properties. The Quimper prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation on charges of voluntary manslaughter of a minor and attempted murder.
