Clara Gomez, known as Claire to the Buffalo community, died at the age of 58 after being hit by a car. Her family remembers her as a good person who struggled with untreated mental health issues and turned to drugs. Despite this, she was beloved in the community and even appeared on a hip-hop album cover. Her family has set up a GoFundMe to help pay for funeral services.
