Stardew Valley's upcoming Update 1.6 will bring "major new content" and is currently in the bug-fixing and polishing phase before release, featuring a new "major" festival, two smaller festivals, new items, dialogues, late-game content, Joja "alternatives," crafting recipes, outfits, and more. Developer Eric Barone suggests starting a new save to experience everything in context, with the update expected to be released this year for PC and consoles.
