Samsung is implementing a six-day workweek policy for its executives in response to disappointing financial results and wider economic concerns. The move aims to "inject a sense of crisis" and drive efforts to overcome challenges, including increased competition in high-bandwidth memory chip production. While the company has signaled a rebound in chip demand after its worst financial year in over a decade, executives from various Samsung affiliates will now be expected to work an extra day, while non-executive employees are not affected.
