Hoosiers start fast and feast: Indiana dominates North Texas 52-16
Indiana opened its season with a 52-16 win over North Texas, paced by transfer QB Josh Hoover’s four touchdown passes on 13-of-16 passing as IU capitalized on strong field position and a fast start. The offense showed depth with multiple playmakers and an efficient two-score-per-drive pace, while the defense had tackling issues and saw two starting corners leave early. Special teams also provided favorable field positions and big plays, setting up the Hoosiers for a bright start to the Curt Cignetti era, with next game against Howard on tap.
