Newsom Sets Aug. 18 Special Election to Fill CA-14 House Seat
Gov. Newsom has issued a proclamation scheduling a special election on August 18, 2026, in California's 14th Congressional District to fill the vacancy created by Rep. Eric Swalwell's resignation.
