"Four Cabinet Members Endorse Trump for Re-election"
Out of the dozens of people who served in Donald Trump's Cabinet, only four have publicly endorsed his bid for re-election, while several have remained coy or outright opposed his candidacy. Former Attorney General Bill Barr stated his strong opposition to Trump and his unwillingness to endorse him. Trump's Cabinet members, who had a unique window into his presidency, did not develop the reciprocal loyalty that could have made them a campaign asset. Some former Cabinet members, such as Mike Pompeo and John Kelly, have not endorsed Trump, while others like Mick Mulvaney actively want him defeated in the GOP primaries. Former Vice President Mike Pence and Nikki Haley, both former Cabinet members, are running against Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.
