California woman pleads guilty to stabbing wife, decades after killing her ex-husband
Yolanda Olejniczak Marodi, 54, admitted to stabbing her wife, Cal Fire Captain Rebecca Marodi, to death in Ramona, California, in 2025—more than 20 years after a prior voluntary manslaughter conviction for killing her ex-husband in 2000. After fleeing to Mexico, she was captured and later pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the 2025 killing.
