Man Arrested for Driving Around with Body in SUV for 30 Days
A man in Lake Charles, Louisiana, drove around with a dead body in his SUV for approximately 30 days before the body was discovered at a mall parking lot. Christopher T. Cater, 41, admitted to killing Sheila Ortega, 72, and using her information to open several loans. Cater has been charged with second-degree murder, unlawful disposal of human remains, and identity theft. The investigation is ongoing.
