Alec Baldwin's Unexpected Comeback on 'Saturday Night Live'
Alec Baldwin made a surprise return to "Saturday Night Live" for the first time since the 2021 fatal shooting on the set of his film "Rust." In a brief cameo, Baldwin appeared in a sketch about sleep stories for the Calm app and joined the host and musical guest for the end-of-show sendoff. Charges of involuntary manslaughter against Baldwin were dropped, but a grand jury will decide if he should face criminal charges again. The film "Rust" resumed production and was completed in May.
