Deadly Shooting in Milam County Leaves Officer and Suspect Dead.
A suspect and a police officer were killed during an officer-involved shooting in Milam County, Texas. The incident occurred during an attempted search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of East 7th Street. The suspect fired on law enforcement, and law enforcement fired back. The injured officer was taken to an emergency room where they later died. The Texas Rangers have been asked to investigate the incident.
