Cunningham Dismisses Athletic Column, Cites WNBA Stats to Defend Value
Sophie Cunningham and her podcast co-host Drew Hanlen pushed back against a recent column by Candace Buckner that urged the Indiana Fever to release Cunningham due to the controversy surrounding her views on trans athletes. While Cunningham expressed indifference to the criticism, Hanlen challenged the column's basketball analysis, citing Cunningham's high effective field goal percentage and ranking among top bench scorers. Cunningham is entering unrestricted free agency after two seasons with the Fever.
