"Cannabis Oil: A Promising Treatment for Canine Skin Disorders"

A study conducted by a team of veterinary students and scientists in Brazil found that oral administration of cannabis oil effectively reduced symptoms of discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) in a two-year-old mixed breed dog. Traditional treatments had not improved the dog's condition, so the researchers administered a mixture of cannabis oils with different levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). After a year of treatment, all symptoms of DLE disappeared, and the dog experienced no further recurrences. This study suggests that cannabis oil could be a promising treatment for canine autoimmune-based skin disorders like DLE.

Georgia's First Medical Marijuana Dispensaries Now Open for Patients.

Georgia's first medical marijuana dispensary, Trulieve Medical Marijuana Dispensary, has opened in Marietta, allowing patients to legally buy medical cannabis oil. Until now, it was legal to possess and use medical cannabis oil in Georgia, but it was illegal to grow here or bring it across state lines. The approval of dispensary licenses to two companies by the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission will help more than 27,000 Georgians currently on the official registry. Patients have had to take great risks meeting people on the streets, potentially making the oil in their own home, getting it from other states, and a lot of people have taken huge risks in order to even obtain the oil they needed for their medicine.
