Packers name five captains for 2026 season
The Green Bay Packers will roll with a season-long quintet of captains in 2026: on offense, Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft; on defense, Xavier McKinney and Zaire Franklin; and on special teams, Isaiah McDuffie. Franklin is a new addition acquired from the Colts, Kraft remains unsigned going into the regular season, and notably only two of the Packers’ top-11 highest-paid players are captains, highlighting leadership selection beyond salary.
