Mattel Names Warner Bros. Exec Catherine Wood as New Head of Dolls
Mattel has appointed Catherine Wood as its new general manager and global head of dolls, overseeing brands including Barbie, American Girl, and Monster High. Wood joins from Warner Bros. Discovery, where she managed global franchise strategy for major IP like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. The move coincides with the transition of Mattel’s former CEO, Ynon Kreiz, to the co-CEO role at Skydance, the new owner of Warner Bros.
