
Arrest Made in Killing of Kentucky Teacher on Catholic University Campus
A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a Kentucky teacher and wrestling coach who was shot on the campus of Catholic University in Washington, D.C. The suspect, Jaime Macedo, was charged with first-degree murder while armed. The victim, Maxwell Emerson, had come to D.C. for a professional development seminar and was shot during what his family believes was a random robbery. Macedo had a prior arrest for illegal firearm possession and probation violation. The motive for the shooting is still unknown.
