Illinois State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Champaign County, which occurred during a pursuit of a vehicle believed to be involved in a shooting in Clinton, Iowa. The suspect was located in a detached garage and engaged in a standoff before an ISP trooper discharged their firearm, fatally striking the suspect. No officers were injured during the incident.
