Newark Shooting Leaves Multiple Casualties, Including Fatality.
At least one person was killed and three were critically wounded in a shooting in Newark on Saturday night. The incident occurred in the area of Chancellor Avenue and Leslie Street, and was reported at around 7:40 p.m. One victim was pronounced dead just after 8:30 p.m. and the others were in critical condition. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
