The plane departed from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and was headed for Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, when it crashed in a wooded grassy area within the airport grounds. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will investigate the crash, and a preliminary report is expected in two to three weeks.

Fatal Plane Crash at Jamestown Airport Leaves Two Dead.

Two Canadian men died in a plane crash near the Chautauqua County-Jamestown Airport in Ellicott, New York. The pilot was identified as Roger Jay Ryall of Toronto and the passenger as David J Hughes of British Columbia. The plane had departed from Jamestown airport and was headed to Waterloo, Canada, when it crashed 11 minutes after takeoff. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
