Chucky-style mask suspect arrested in Las Vegas after Philadelphia jogger chase
A man identified as Zymire Hughes chased a jogger in Center City Philadelphia while wearing a creepy Chucky-style mask and shouted “Are you ready to die?” to boost his social-media views; Philadelphia prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for felony and misdemeanor assault, and Hughes was later arrested in Las Vegas by U.S. Marshals and is being held without bail with a hearing scheduled. Police say he approached more than a dozen people before fleeing, and investigators traced him via security cameras and tips. Hughes is on probation in Montgomery County and maintains two TikTok accounts and one Instagram; more charges could be filed as the case unfolds.
