Productivity platform ClickUp has laid off 10% of its workforce, approximately 90 employees, in an effort to become more efficient and better positioned for a public listing. The San Diego-based startup cited the need to move support roles to lower-cost regions as the reason for the layoffs. Impacted employees will receive severance packages and extended support. ClickUp, valued at $4 billion, counts Booking.com, IBM, Spotify, T-Mobile, and Netflix among its customers.
