G7 finance chiefs to address economic risks and global tensions.
The US has called for "co-ordinated action" by the G7 against China's use of economic coercion, as the group prepares to meet in Cornwall this week. The move comes as tensions between the US and China continue to rise, with the US accusing China of using economic pressure to achieve political goals. The G7 is expected to discuss a range of issues, including climate change, the global economic recovery, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
