
Stellantis recalls over 354,000 Jeeps worldwide due to rear coil spring issue.
Stellantis is recalling 331,401 Jeep Grand Cherokees due to a rear coil spring that may detach from the vehicle while driving, causing a potential crash without warning and damage to other vehicles and vulnerable road users. The recall affects 114,300 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles and 217,099 Jeep Grand Cherokee L models built between Dec. 5, 2020, and May 31, 2023. The issue is estimated to be present in approximately 13% of the recall population, and customers are urged to follow the instructions on the notices scheduled for mailing next month.
