Columbia Mall Pauses Premium Parking Plan Temporarily
The Mall in Columbia has temporarily paused its paid premium parking program, removing 120 front-row spaces near entrances after it launched on Aug. 3. Shoppers largely ignored the paid spots (up to $10.45), leading to a quick reversal as management says the pause will allow a reassessment of the best location for premium parking. About 6,600 spaces remain free and handicapped parking is untouched, with the program not considered permanently scrapped.
