Israeli Elite Combat Unit Exposes Hamas Tunnels in Video Footage
Graphic video footage released by the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security agency shows a Hamas terrorist being killed inside a tunnel in northern Gaza, as well as the bodies of several other terrorists. The elite Yahalom unit of the combat engineering corps used "diverse means" to eliminate the terrorists in a significant tunnel. The IDF also destroyed the headquarters of Hamas' Shejaia Battalion in Gaza City and advanced further into Khan Yunis. Troops used airstrikes, tank fire, and engineering forces to carry out the operation, and a kamikaze drone was used to expose and strike a terrorist cell.
