Google AI Search Adds Public Perspectives From Reddit and Forums
Google is updating AI Search results to include a “preview of perspectives” drawn from public online discussions and social media, with sources like Reddit and forums sometimes labeled as “Expert Advice” or “Community Perspectives.” The changes also introduce a “Further Exploration” section in AI Mode and AI Overviews, add a “Subscribed” label for news sources to appear first, and improve link visibility with inline links and hover previews so users can better assess sources before clicking.
