Davis mourns loss of "Compassion Guy" found slain in Central Park.
David Breaux, known as the "Compassion Guy" in Davis, was identified as the victim of a homicide at Central Park. Breaux was a kind and compassionate person who wrote a book on compassion. A public art bench dedicated to his work was proposed by a former mayor of Davis. A vigil is planned for Breaux at the "Compassion Bench."
