Meet the Solar-Farm Grazing Cow: A Breed Built for Agrivoltaics
Gray's LAMBscaping developed a hornless, docile, heat- and disease-resistant composite cow by blending Dexter, Belted Galloway, Piney Woods, and American Milking Devon bloodlines to safely graze solar sites, enabling better pasture use, parasite control, and multi-use land under panels, with plans to graze cattle and sheep together and foster closer collaboration between farmers and solar operators.
