Anthony Davis' Injury and the NBA's Concussion Policy
Lakers player Anthony Davis' status for Game 6 is uncertain after sustaining an elbow to the head in Game 5. While he has not been diagnosed with a concussion, the NBA's concussion policy requires players to undergo evaluation and monitoring for at least 24 hours after a suspected concussion. If Davis is diagnosed with a concussion, he will be unable to participate in games for at least 48 hours and must complete a gradual return-to-participation process.
