Virginia Eyes 24/7 Two-Way I-95 Express Lanes
VDOT, with Transurban, is studying converting the 45-mile I-95 express lanes from a reversible, peak-direction system to two-way traffic around the clock to relieve congestion, with an environmental assessment underway; cost and timeline have not yet been released.
