Kent Freedom Fest Scrapped After VIP Sales Collapse
Patriots Day Freedom Fest, a conservative gathering in northern Kentucky, was canceled on September 21 after selling only six VIP tickets. Organizer Eric Deters, who planned to subsidize free general admission with $1,000 VIP passes, declared he would never host the event again. The lineup included Kid Rock, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and Rep. James Comer. Deters blamed wealthy associates for not purchasing tickets, calling them 'rich people' who 'suck,' while insisting the cancellation was not due to low public interest. The event, held at his Morning View farm, previously featured speakers like Donald Trump Jr. and Candace Owens. Deters has 600,000 followers and claims 50 million monthly views, but the financial shortfall forced the abrupt cancellation days before the September 26 date.
