Bentley Continental Supersports Slims Down for the Track
Bentley’s Continental Supersports is the lightest Bentley road car in 85 years, shedding mass by dropping the plug-in hybrid and front-axle drive in favor of rear-wheel drive, carbon aero, and lighter wheels to hit about 1995 kg (≈4398 lb). Its 4.0L twin-turbo V8 makes 657 hp and 590 lb-ft, delivering sub-4-second 0–60 performance with strong brakes and adaptive suspension for track use, while the interior is pared back (no massage seats, no rotating center display) and the price climbs toward six figures with Mulliner options; only 500 are planned.
