Giants End Devers' Season with 60-Day IL, Call Up Bandura
Rafael Devers' 2026 season ended Sunday when the San Francisco Giants placed him on the 60-day injured list with a core muscle injury. The team selected the contract of outfielder Scott Bandura from Triple-A Sacramento to fill the roster spot. Devers, who played through the injury for most of the year, will consult a specialist and may undergo surgery. He finishes with 37 home runs and a .258/.340/.525 slash line, having been the league's most productive hitter since May.
