"Long COVID: Prevalence and Symptoms Revealed in Recent Studies"
A study led by researchers from the University College London and Dartmouth College found that 14% of Americans had experienced long COVID by the end of 2022. The study, based on data from the US Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey, also revealed that individuals with long COVID reported higher levels of anxiety, low mood, and memory difficulties. Additionally, researchers have identified a "Core Outcome Measure Set" (COMS) to measure the severity and impact of long COVID, which includes twelve core outcomes such as fatigue, pain, and mental health. This development is seen as a crucial step towards developing treatments for long COVID.
