Rapper YNW Melly Faces New Witness Tampering Charge Ahead of Retrial
Rapper YNW Melly and his alleged accomplice, Cortlen "Bortland" Henry, have been charged with witness tampering in their ongoing double murder trial. Henry was arrested on an out-of-county warrant, while Melly appeared in bond court and was ordered to remain in custody without bond. The prosecution accuses Melly of fatally shooting two individuals in 2018, while Henry is accused of driving the vehicle and helping to cover up the murders. Melly's retrial is set to begin next week, and Henry is expected to go to trial in January.
