The fire, which occurred after testimony concluded, led to the evacuation of the courthouse but was unrelated to the trial. The suspect was arraigned on charges of attempted arson and reckless endangerment, with bail set at $50,000 cash or $150,000 bond. Although there were no serious injuries, court officers were affected by the smoke and extinguisher chemicals. The courthouse was later reopened, and closing arguments for Trump's trial are scheduled for January 11.
