"Los Angeles Hospital Evacuates Critical Patients Amid Power Outage"
More than two dozen critical condition patients were transported to other facilities when a power outage occurred at Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles. The outage affected the Specialty Care Center, leaving the hospital without main and emergency power. Twenty-eight critical patients and over 200 non-critical patients required assistance, with firefighters using flashlights to aid in the birth of a baby. The outage was caused by an equipment failure, and crews from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power were working to restore power.
