eBay has agreed to pay a $3m fine to settle charges of harassing bloggers critical of the company, with former executives sending live spiders and cockroaches to the victims. The harassment targeted a couple producing a newsletter disliked by eBay executives, leading to a campaign of intimidation including sending live insects, a foetal pig, and a funeral wreath to their home.
