The album's lead single, "Padam Padam," became a viral hit and her first top 10 hit on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. "Tension" earned Minogue her largest U.S. sales week for an album in nearly 20 years, with 24,500 equivalent album units. The album also debuted at No. 21 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.
