Céline Dion Opens Paris Residency With a 29‑Song Comeback
Céline Dion returned to the stage after six years, kicking off her 26‑date Paris residency at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre with a 29‑song, about 2.5 hours of performance that ranged from intimate French ballads to English hits. She opened with “On Ne Change Pas,” debuted the comeback single “Dansons,” and delivered an a cappella rendition of “All by Myself,” all inside a spare production that keeps the focus on her voice. Guests included Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Aya Nakamura and Thomas Pesquet as the show highlighted her first major return since her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis.
