Google Gemini expands cross-AI memory: import chats and profiles from rival assistants
Google's Gemini adds two features to simplify switching between AI assistants: (1) a prompt-based tool that asks a rival AI to summarize what it has learned about you to bootstrap your Gemini profile, and (2) an option to import your entire chat history from another AI. Both free and paid accounts can use these, enabling easier migration and referencing past conversations across platforms, with Anthropic having offered a similar memory import feature.
