"Microsoft and Oracle Strengthen Cloud Integration with Expanded Partnership"
Microsoft and Oracle have announced a partnership expansion that will allow customers to access Oracle Database services running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and deployed in Microsoft Azure datacenters. This collaboration aims to simplify cloud migration, multicloud deployment, and management for customers, providing them with more flexibility in running their workloads. The partnership will enable organizations to accelerate their migration to the cloud, modernize their IT environments, and take advantage of Azure's infrastructure and services. The new service, called Oracle Database@Azure, offers a fully integrated experience for deploying, managing, and using Oracle database instances within Azure, eliminating challenges in adopting multicloud architectures. Customers will have the choice to deploy Azure services with fully managed Oracle Database services within a single datacenter, supported by both Oracle and Microsoft.
