Coldplay Fights Back: Countersuing Ex-Manager Over Tour Mismanagement
Coldplay has countersued their former manager, Dave Holmes, alleging that he allowed touring costs to spiral out of control and took out substantial loans without the band's knowledge. The band claims that Holmes is responsible for costly mistakes during their Music of the Spheres tour, including the purchase of expensive but unusable equipment. Coldplay is seeking £14 million ($17 million) in damages from Holmes, who had previously sued the band for unpaid commission.
